Once upon a time, in a bright and bustling forest, there lived a little sparrow named Sunny. Sunny had the shiniest feathers and the happiest chirp, but what made her special was her tiny nest, filled with the juiciest berries she collected every morning. She loved her berries more than anythingโthey were sweet, plump, and perfect.
One sunny day, Sunny flew to her favorite berry bush and gathered a big pile to take home. As she fluttered back, she noticed her friend Benny the Bunny hopping sadly below. “Whatโs wrong, Benny?” Sunny chirped, landing beside him.
Benny sighed. “Iโve been looking for food all morning, but the bushes are empty today. My little brothers and sisters are so hungry.” His big, round eyes looked up at Sunnyโs pile of berries.
Sunny hugged her berries closer. “These are mine,” she thought. “I worked hard for them!” But then she saw Bennyโs droopy ears and remembered how he once shared his carrots with her when her wings were too tired to fly. She took a deep breath and said, “Benny, letโs share! You can have half my berries for your family.”
Bennyโs ears perked up, and he smiled the biggest bunny smile. “Oh, thank you, Sunny! Youโre the kindest sparrow ever!” Together, they carried the berries to Bennyโs burrow, where his little brothers and sisters cheered and nibbled happily.
The next day, something magical happened. Sunny flew back to her berry bush and found it bursting with even more berries than beforeโtwice as many! Word had spread about her kindness, and all the forest animals came to help her pick them. Squirrels, mice, and even a shy deer joined in, laughing and singing. Sunnyโs nest was soon overflowing, and she had more friends than ever.
From then on, Sunny learned that sharing didnโt mean losingโit meant gaining more than she could ever imagine. And every evening, she chirped a happy song with her forest friends, knowing that kindness always grows bigger when you give it away.
Moral: Sharing with others brings happiness and rewards in unexpected ways.
